Ever since she charmed her second grade teacher with a story about a chubby turkey, she’s been obsessed with the power of narrative (and a good thanksgiving meal).
After earning her MFA in Writing for Film and TV from Emerson College, she took off to tell her story and inspire the next generation. She has appeared in the indie animation scene as a staff writer on BETA CRYSTALS and an unannounced animated series, and a story consultant for LIMYE CHANDEL. Her pride and joy has been her time spent writing the indie animated feature film AURORA, which Coverfly named top in-production project of July 2024.
Her work always comes back to her biggest inspirations: stories that bring internal battles to the external with fantasy visuals, timeless humor, and thematic symbolism (cut her some slack; she has an English B.A.). Some of her favorites to return to for inspiration or just a good time are Infinity Train, Gravity Falls, Owl House, Steven Universe, Inside Out, Iron Giant, Ratatouille, Pantheon, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and even Fight Club.
